I have a 2008 chrysler town and country that gets stuck in

Customer Question

I have a 2008 chrysler town and country that gets stuck in park what is it the button that the break pedal hits or do u think it's the transmission

Hello, my name is Bobby. Thank you for the question. Typically this is an issue with the brake pedal switch. This is the input for the brake pedal to release the shifter. If this fails typically the brake lights will not work either. If the brake lights are fine then it is usually an issue with the locking solenoid in the shifter itself. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you need anything else.
