I have a 2008 Chrysler Sebring hard top convertible. My radio is a serrus and has gps navigation and blue tooth phone all is working except am and fm radio tuning - I was told by the dealer I need a software update is this true is it expensive ??

It doesn't sound like you have a software issue. It's very possible that your radio software isn't up to date but software isn't going to cause a loss of reception.

Are you not able to tune to any AM or FM stations?

What is the small three digit code on the bottom of the radio faceplate?
