Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

The problem you are having with the alternator can be caused by any of the following,

  • Alternator
  • Alternator Wiring
  • Battery
  • Battery Cable(s)
  • Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

In order to determine which one has failed you are going to need to do some testing, I have enclosed the test steps in the link below, copy and paste the link to your browser to open and view the steps.

but I already replace the alternator and Is doing the samething
A soon as the battery runs out the car will turn off
And all the inside lights are on even when I have all the doors close
I just bought the car yesterday and thought that it was the alternator

Okay then you need to run the test steps I sent you which will help you determine the cause. You may have a bad PCM and or the wiring to it, the test steps will tell you if that is the case.

How do I put the Vin with the scanner so I can replace the pcm
Expert:  Ron replied 1 year ago.

If you are replacing the PCM it will require programming and this needs to be done with a factory scan tool as well as the factory software.
