I took the car to a mechanic and he said that the oil was coming from the bottom of the cylinder and not the top. What could that mean

That means the piston rings are worn and oil is bypassing them.

I know I have to remove the engine but I have never removed one out of a Chrysler and it seems very complicated vs, say a Chevy
