Replaced water pump, put everything back right, replaced

Customer Question

Replaced water pump, put everything back right, replaced crank sensor ,timing sensor, and timing tensioner. Will turn over but only sparks as you turn key off, not while turning over? Any suggestions

Hi, did you arm the primary timing chain tensioner after you set your valve timing? You have to pry against the guide to arm the tensioner so it springs back. I usually just replace the tensioner, they are a common failure point on a 2.7. If you didn't arm it, the chain probably jumped and would explain the no spark.
