I would like to ask your expertise on a project. I replaced

Customer Question

Hello.....I would like to ask your expertise on a project. I replaced my timing belt on my 2001 Chrysler LHS per your instructions in this chat from 4 yrs ago. The car will start but runs VERY rough. RMPs will fluctuate between 1.5K and 2.5K. I aligned the cam up to TDC and the pistons had red timing marks and aligned those. Not sure if I have something out of time or 180 out?

did the belt break?

this is NOT a freewheeling engine so if it broke there will be valve damage, how did the car run before the belt was replaced?
