Hi Welcome to just Answer! Do you have another remote to try and if so does that do the same thing?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no only 1 remote
Expert:  b5demon replied 1 year ago.
ok since it does work sometime the issue is most likely the remote itself you will need to get a new remote and have it programmed to the van
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
you dont think its the modual
Expert:  b5demon replied 1 year ago.
no usually the module just stop working all together intermitant issues like that are usually the remote
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
ok with key . what about dash lights going crazy when i run a/c van wants to stall somtimes does turn off wait five minuites then its fine some times
Expert:  b5demon replied 1 year ago.
which dash lights? The gages or the back lighting?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i took it had a/c charged and looked at they said everything was fine with a/c system
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
back lighting
Expert:  b5demon replied 1 year ago.
It sounds like the ac compressor may be starting to fail and putting too much of a load on the system drawing the alternator down and causing the lights to go crazy.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
and gauges sometimes
Expert:  b5demon replied 1 year ago.
low voltage will cause them to act up if it goes back to normal when you shut the ac off it is either the compressor or the alternator
