Customer Question

Chrysler 2005 300-c Have steering wheel lateral wobble (side to side) after having 2 tie rods, new rotors, and brake pads. It does not happen all the time but when it starts, it won't stop. Firestone has aligned it twice.

Hi thanks for using I'll be glad to help.At what speed does it occur?

Generally when they're is a steering wobble. A few things I check are tire separation (which is most common). This can be felt mostly at slow speeds. Tire balance, if there is a tire that is out of balance pretty bad it can cause some major wobble. Steering and suspension components. If all are tight then all should be good. Alignment will not cause a wobble. I'll be glad to assist further if needed. If you are happy with my answer please rate positive. This is how I am credited. Thank you.
