How Can Bluetooth Be Disconnected?? I have a 2006 Pacifica Touring. It has factory installed bluetooth UConnect and I wish to disconnect it. I am sensitive to the signals and get terrible headaches and heart palpitations after just 5 mins in the car. I can not find a way to turn it off so disconnecting it completely may be the only answer. (I just bought it and paid cash so I am stuck with it for a while).I am told it is integrated into the radio and to a "module" that possibly controls other features. I am hoping this can be done without losing other features.
Welcome and thank you for allowing me to assist you! It is not integrated into the radio. There is a HFM (Hands Free Module) that uses the Bluetooth signal to link with a phone. This module can be removed and not affect other radio features. Here is the procedure on how to remove the HFM.
I hope this information helps, and let me know if you need further assistance with this.

Oh, I am so sorry! I had to leave before your answer came in. I just now saw your email.
I will give your answer to my mechanic - sounds like you know your stuff.
Any advice for removing the console? I would like for my Pacifica to stay as pretty as possible. She looks brand new at 6 yrs old.
Yes I can send you the procedure for you. Let me look it up and get that to you.
Ok, here is the procedure for you. I hope this helps,

GREAT! How do I leave a feedback comment for others to read about you??
That is a good question because the format has been changed from an "accept and leave feedback" format to a "simple rating" system. Let me look into that. Chris
One more thing, ChrisAbout how long should it take to remove the HFM from my car with all of your instructions and graphics?
Well if you have the proper tools, I would say about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes.
