i have a 2008 town and country and my touch screen radio starts off ok then goes fuzzy after just a few minutes...has double vision sometimes but mostly its just fuzz...thank you for any help

Hello,thank you for getting back to me.With this vehicle you need to get the updates for the reprogramming because there is inoperative due to either a jukebox or hard disc drive corruption concern. A radio that becomes inoperative due to either of these concerns you must have the software to due the updates.This only takes 10 mins to do and you need to get the update from the dealer.Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX do have the updates and have not installed them you need to go ahead and do this. There is a common problem with the radio.Thank you
I bought it used from a Chevy dealer, can they put the new software on it?
Sorry it has to be a Chrysler Dealer unless it is joined together the Chevy with Chrysler.sorry about that.
I have a Chrysler dealer here in town...roughly how much will this update cost?
It all depends on the dealer ship, some will do a no charge and then some only charge 40.00 and then there are other dealers that charge a hole hour of labor like 95.00.
Last question, I appreciate you helping. How often do I have to update the software?
There are several problem with the radio and you will need to have the updates done every time the radio acts up. But you should be good for awhile with the new updates, they have been working on getting out the bugs. you should be good for at least a year or longer, some of my customers have not had any problems again.
