Customer Question

i get a rubbing sound in the right rear brake ,after i hit my brake hard.what causes this it does not do it until i hit my brake.

Already Tried:
i sprayed some white grease on the springs

Hello.

This could be caused by a partially seized wheel cylinder or caliper (depending if it has disc or drum brakes) and the friction material is rubbing on the drum or rotor.
The rotor or drum may also have a slight rust ridge that would also make the noise louder.

Inspect the brakes and make sure the components are working free.
Remove any rust buildup on the drum or rotor surfaces.
