Welcome to JustAnswer, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I'm here to help get your problem resolved. Ask follow up questions, thanks. This is a common problem caused by a failed camshaft position sensor tone ring. The tone wheel can be swapped by punching out the center of the rivets to the cam sprocket. Then cut the rivet head off with a sharp chisel. Install the correct tone wheel using new rivets. The rivets center the tone wheel to the cam sprocket. Place rags under the cam sprocket to catch any debris. Let me know if you have questions, you can reply at any time even after you accept without additional fee's. Thanks.
