Robert R :

Hello, My name isXXXXX to Just Answer. I will do my best to help you with your concern.

Robert R :

is that a factory or aftermarket alarm system??

Customer:

It's a factory system

Robert R :

Have you tried locking and unlocking the driver and passenger doors with the key to see if the alarm disarms?

Robert R :

Also, do you have a remote keyfob for the vehicle?

Customer:

Tried all that. threw my keyfob away several years ago.

Customer:

The only thing is, I didn't try locking them with the key.

Robert R :

There are supposed to be switches attached to the backside of the door lock cylinders that wil disarm the alarm when you unlock the door, I recommend removing the door panel to see if the switch fell off the back of the lock cylinder

Customer:

Thank you. The car is in the shop now, that is where it happened. Will give them the information.

Robert R :

Ok, Let me know if you need additional info, thanks for using JA.
