When aligning timing marks, always rotate engine by turning the crankshaft. Failure to do so will result in valve and/or piston damage.
cannot find marks on chain
the marks on the chains are identified by different color links, they could be brighter or darker look for different links on the chain once you find one the other two should correspond with the marks on the sprockets.
now Iam talking about a used chain if cleaned will be able to see the difference in color
yes you should be able to see different color links, or something should different may be the way their shaped.

It should be able to, but you can always reply if you need it again.
