Hello and Welcome to JustAnswer,

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to try and assist your with your question. There are several other items that can cause the problem. Do you have a volt meter or a test light to check a couple things with?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I don't but what parts should I check?
Safety neutral switch
starter relay
ignition switch
Battery cables
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
how do you test the starter relay and where is the safety neutral switch located?
Best way to test the relay is to swap it with another relay.

Neutral switch is located on the transmission
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
the starter relay lists for 97$ the starter was 99$ could you give me a description of what the neutral switch looks like, how many bolts hold it on? Thanks a lot, Tim
It threads in like a bolt so no bolts hold it in as it holds itself in
