2004 Pacifica: amp..Have checked under seats..right rear

Resolved Question:

Where is the amp on a 2004 Pacifica? Have checked under seats....inside right rear qtr panel....and under rear storage mat. The radio/DVD operates fine, but there is no sound.

Service Information

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the rear floor stowage tray
  3. Remove the three mounting fasteners
  4. Disconnect wire harness connectors and remove amplifier.

Any idea why? Cable loose or do these amps go bad?

Most likely the amp itself has failed or the radio. Make sure the connectors are tight. Best way to check is to swap the radio with another one and if no change replace the amp. Is swapping with another radio it works then the radio needs replaced
