How do I locate and replace Blower Motor Resistor on my 2005 Chrysler Sebring convertable

The blower resistor is located under the passenger's side dash, mounted to the HVAC housing, near the blower motor.

 

  • Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  • Remove the silencer panel from right side of the instrument panel.graphic
  • Disconnect the wire harness connector from the blower motor resistor located on the bottom of the HVAC housing.

  • Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing and remove the resistor.
