2007 chrysler sebring touring: the threading so i know what size knob

how do you remove a 2007 chrysler sebring touring shifter knob and what size is the threading so i know what size knob will fit

To remove the shifter knob just pull up on it firmly, it'll come off, there are no fasteners to remove. There is no threading on the shaft, pull the knob off you'll see what I mean.
