2001 pt cruiser: cooling fan..wont run..relays are good..fuses

2001 pt cruiser cooling fan wont run. relays are good. fuses are good. when activated with scan tool there is power to the fan and relay clicks but fan still does not run. if you use a power probe to give the fan voltage it will run. i dont get it?

my only question now is why if the fan is faulty can i make it run with the power probe?

<p>I refuse to use the power probes because they provide too many miss "diagnosis".</p><p> </p><p>When you actuate the fan with the scan tool........you have power to the fan.......correct?.........do you also have a ground?</p><p> </p><p>Power and ground will make the fan run....as you know, just put the power probe away. </p>
