I have a P0344 error code. A Circuit Intermittent Bank 1 or single sensor. I replaced the camshaft position sensor, cleared the error codes. Drove the car, it started bucking again , error code came back.
Year model and engine size please.

PT Cruiser 2005 4 cyl, non turbo Vin Code B

Ok, this code is for an intermittant signal from the cam sensor. Since you've changed the sensor you need to have a good look at the wiring to see if there are any areas where the wires may be damaged.

If that all looks good, you can start considering replacing the crank sensor.......after you have checked the wiring to it as well.

A bad crank sensor can cause the PCM to "think" it is getting an intermittant signal from the cam sensor........when if fact it is the crank sensor causing all the problem.
