All dodge 2.4L DOHC motors are non-interference. if the belt breaks chances are that you can install a new belt and the engine will be fine. if your 2.4 has the old style tensioner, the one that you use a 6mm hex to release, replace it!
those tensioners have been discontinued as the bearings in the tensioner will fail after you install the new belt in most cases and the mopar replacement requires that you use a new style timing belt front and rear cover.
the new tensioner comes in a timing belt kit from your local dealer.
