How do you get to and change the battery on a 200 Chrysler LHS?

Good evening, the battery is removed thru the passenger side fender well. The battery is mounted directly in front of the passenger side tire. Here is the information directly from the service manual:

 

BATTERY

WARNING: TO PROTECT THE HANDS FROM BATTERY ACID, A SUITABLE PAIR OF HEAVY DUTY RUBBER GLOVES, NOT THE HOUSEHOLD TYPE, SHOULD BE WORN WHEN REMOVING OR SERVICING A BATTERY. SAFETY GLASSES ALSO SHOULD BE WORN.

REMOVAL

  1. Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
  2. Verify that the ignition switch and all accessories are OFF.
  3. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable remote terminal from the remote battery post

1 - RIGHT STRUT TOWER
2 - AIR CLEANER INLET TUBE
3 - REMOTE TERMINAL
  1. Remove air cleaner housing.
  2. Remove battery splash shield.
  3. Remove two short bolts to battery hold down.
  4. Slide battery rearward to disconnect the negative and positive battery terminals from battery.
  5. Slide battery toward rear of vehicle and lift out of the engine compartment.
  6. Remove battery from vehicle.

INSTALLATION

For installation, reverse the above procedures. Inspect and clean battery and attaching components before installation.
