Hi. Do you know if you have the 2.0 or 2.4 engine in your Breeze? They are both 4 cylinders.

Customer replied1645 days and 18 hours ago.

Ok great. Here are instructions to remove it.

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable at the jump start post
  2. Unplug the electrical connector from alternator
  3. Remove the cover on the positive battery cable at the alternator.
  4. Remove the positive battery cable from alternator
  5. Loosen the nut on the alternator where you see the slot for adjustment
  6. Loosen pivot bolt, on the bottom of the alternator, but leave it in
  7. Loosen adjusting bolt on top of the alternator and remove the belt
  8. Remove adjusting T-bolt from the top of the alternator (where the adjustment slot is).
  9. Remove pivot bolt from the bottom and don't drop thne spacer.
  10. Pull alternator from mounting bracket and move it toward passenger head lamp
  11. Remove alternator from head lamp area.
