2000 4.3 Silverado first start of the day engine
starts right up. Drive it until it warms up shut it off let it set for 20 to 30 minutes try restarting, it will either start and die or not start, and sets a P1351 code and turns on check engine light. Try cranking it again and it turns over a little more then normally, but will start
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: Lite stays on steady for three or four more start ups then will usually go off. Then repeats the same action the next day. Seems to be more common in warm weather then in cool weather
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes cap, rotor, wires, crankshaft sensor, ICM, distributor, spider injector
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Seem to lack a little power when this happens. I have not replaced the ignition coil
as it checked ok when doing a ohm check on it
