how do I know what wattage speakers to buy for my GMC 2005-2009 Truck Radio - AM FM CD Player w Aux MP3 Input OEM 15850275?
Expert:  Jerry Newton replied 2 months ago.

This is a base level radio, with no Bose and no amp. If you go to Crutchfield.com and build your vehicle, and specify a base radio with 4 speakers, they will give you a list of recommended speakers from various makers to fit your application. Generally speaking, a speaker that is capable of handling 75 watts is more than sufficient to handle the output of this radio.
