Hello. My name is ***** ***** I will be assisting you today. Do you get air from the defrost vents?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I put my hand up there and didnt feel much. Want me to go sit in car and check?
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

That would be great.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Ok on my way.
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

I'm here.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Wanna call?
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Very little air coming out
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Of any vent
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Hello?
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

I can call if you'd like, but I can tell you now that your air duct has come apart somewhere in the system,

Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

The air duct is located behind the dash and you may have to remove a significant portion off the dash to access this.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I figured that..what about cabin air filter. Temp door actuator or resister
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Ok yeah..i think i could have told you tat.
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

If you are sure that your blower is working then the cabin air filter would not all of a sudden restrict air flow as much as you are describing.

Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

The actuator would cause the air to only blow out of one section.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I hear the blower
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Air is just not coming out
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

The resister would cause the blower motor to blow either on the high setting or the low setting.

Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

You issue is in the ducts.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Its blowing on all settings at the correct speed
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
the dealer can fix it?
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

If you remove the glove box and the lower panel of the dash, you may be able to access the duct fitting from there.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
How much does that cost?
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

The dealer will easily be able to fix this. Let me check for price for you.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Ok..thats where the cabin filter is too. Its too dark to mess with it tonight...ok
Customer: replied 1 month ago.
It shouls be cheap
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

It's saying 1.1 hours so that would be times whatever the shop charges per hour.

Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

I hope you get your issue taken care of. If that will be all, and you have found this information helpful, a positive rating would be greatly appreciated.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Ok. Thanks
Expert:  Todd M replied 1 month ago.

They may want to charge you for the replacement of the air inlet for recirculation. If so, then that is reading 5 hours.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I fixed it. Can i havw a refund? All i did was take the cabin air filter out...bang off the dust and reinstall..works like new. Will replace with new one..
