does the 80 amp fuse have 12 volts at both side of it testing it in place ?
try to disconnect both battery cables for 5 minutes then touch the 2 battery cables together for 1 minute then reconnect both to the battery will it still now work ?
if it still will not work with that fuse being good what has happened is when it was jump started it spiked the steering computer and damaged it and would need to be replaced
it just needs that power to operate from the 80 amp fuse

loosen the bolt in each battery cable end at the battery to remove the cables off the battery
yes it is supposed to be an 80 amp fuse
if that fuse shows 12 volts on both sides of it then the fuse is good
as you said you tested it and it showed 12 volts on both sides of it
i never said an 80 amp fuse would not work
when did i say that ?
it is supposed to be an 80 amp fuse
they both are 80 amp fuses
if the old was 80 and the new is 80 then it should work
there i no other fuse but an 80 for the steering power
the fuse should be 80 amp
if the old fuse shows 12 volts on both sides of it the fuse is fine
um 12 volts
you said you tested that before
try another 80 if it doesnt work try the battery this i said if it still doesnt work a shop needs to test the steering module
jump what ?
who said anything about jumping anything ?
if that 80 amp fuse is good try the battery cable thing i said if it still doesn't work it needs to go to the shop
ok get this to the shop then
yes it should be the same
all fuses are amps
under the hood loosen the battery terminal bolt and then pull off the cables off the battery as seen here is the negative terminal off the battery
yes remove # 2 off the battery then remove the cable off the other side of the battery then both are off the battery
if that does not work again it needs to go to the shop
and if it still will not work it needs to get into the shop
just off the battery then wait 5 minutes then touch the 2 battery cables together for 1 minute then reconnect both back to the battery
it should only erase radio presets
i have done all i can for you
try the battery thing and if it still acts up it needs to go to the shop
