Hi im kevin when you say they only work when running when else do you use them ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
they should come on whenever the ignition is in run position and trans is in reverse.so you can test them and so i can trace wires so i can add extra backup lights.

Hello and welcome!

Different tech here.

I can provide you a wiring diagram of the reverse lights.

However, I will need the VIN number please.

Thank you.

I am not looking for the wiring diagram, i am asking why , now they only come on when running ?
Expert:  AMEDEE replied 1 month ago.

I see. So your looking for a diagnoses.

I can help walk you through this diagnoses, but I would not know why this is happening within running some tests.
