Customer Question

I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado, 5.3L, Automatic, 2wd. The truck has been running great but have the typical ABS module go out. So I replaced it and m ow the truck won't start. Cranks over and acts like wants to start then dies. Fuel Guage reads empty but sho I ld be 3/4 full tank.
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: I don't understand your question in relation to the conditions I just wrote.
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've re-traced my steps thinking I bumped a wire loose. But everything is good.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Can't think of anything else.

Have you checked for spark and fuel when cranking?

Are there any codes in the computer?
