Hello, in order to replace the electric power steering system, the wheel hubs have to be removed. If I was in your possiiton I would take the vehicle back to the dealer to have the traction control light evaluated. My guess is that there is a wheel speed sensor that needs to be plugged in that was left unplugged.

nobody replaced the p/s system, they just upgraded a part in the steering column as in the recall . I will check the wheel sensors when I install my snow tires later in the week but the wheel hubs have never been removed

Hello there,

More than likely the dealer has disturbed a connection in the electrical system when they did the recall.

I would get the car looked asap by them, then you won't need to pay for anything.

There will be codes set for them to look at.

Hope this helps.

Do you need any further help?

Have you returned the car to the dealer?

I hope my advice has been of assistance to you.

Kind regards
