Hi & sorry for the delay, in order to help you better I need a little more info. When you say rear lights, do you mean the tail lights? Or brake lights? Or reverse lights or all the above? do the head lights work? & when you turn them on does the radio face light up just not the cluster? Thanks
Sonny

Sorry for the delay. It is the rear lights and the dash lights that do not work. My headlights work fine.

none of the brake lights, park lights and reverse light work and the cluster?
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.
Let me look up a few things. So give me a little bit.
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.
1. At the underhood fuse center check fuse EF15 a 10 amp right hand illumination fuse for good power to and through the fuse.2. If OK remove the fuse and inspect for corrosion or poor contacts.3. Check splice pack 101 for power from the fuse on pin 1, a Purple/White wire. If OK, check power out of the splice pack on pins 2,4 and 5, all Brown/White wires.check for a Burned splice pack 101. This is in the fuse block under the hood. It is a goofy looking white connector on the driver side of the fuse block. MAKE NOTE IT IS 3 SEPARATE CIRCUITS. Take the top of the connector apart and you can see the 3 metal splice bar in it.
- Parts are unobtainable from dealer so don't waste time trying. Sliced and soldered wires for good repair.

I can't open my hood because of a recent accident.
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.

Awe gotcha. HHHMMM, are you having it fixed? I ask because most of the things I have for you to check are under the hood. I am not sure how i will be able to help if we can't get it open is the only reason I ask.

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
I wasn't planning to...but a friend of mine said that if I really wanted to get under the hood, then I can sort of pry it open and tie it down after whatever changes I do
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.

I would recommend that, other wise you will never be able to add oil or check the oil or anything else.

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
Have you ever done that?
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.

Tied it shut? unfortunately yes. I prefer large zip ties tho.

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
Hmm. What's the most efficient way to pry the hood open?
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.

honestly it would depend on how it is damaged. But I would say a pry bar and be careful where you pry

Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 15 days ago.

unfortunately I work nights tho. So i will be signing off till about 11:30-12 midnight eastern time. I will answer any questions you have when I sign back on. I am sorry. If it is urgent another tech might jump in.

Customer: replied 15 days ago.
No worries. I will let you know what happens when I pry the hood
Expert:  Master Auto Tech. replied 14 days ago.

sounds good, just let me know when you get it open. Thanks
