When I sealed the outlets on the master cylinder of my GMC

Customer Question

When I sealed the outlets on the master cylinder of my GMC Seirra, 3500, there is a grinding sound and the pedal pulses up and down. the grinding sound is there no matter what, even in park. It is something to do with the master cylinder or powerbooster, I think, but can
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: The truck was sitting up for a couple of years. It also has a powerstering leak. Part of the noise is that, but that is a minor thing. I isolated the master cylinder by plugging the outlets and the master is good. Could the powerbooster make a grinding noise?
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 1997 GMC Sierra C
JA: Are you fixing your Sierra yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: That's my problem. In a nutshell.
