is this an automatic ?

and do you know if there are any codes set current or history in the computer ?

did this happen out of the blue one day ?

was anything done to where now its doing this ?

was anything done yet to correct this issue ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
it is an automatic and it had done it before and then stopped. my son drives it and didn't say anything to me so when I drove it I noticed. nothing has been done yet and I have not checked codes

if the light has not been coming on the odds are there are no codes set

the next step is to be sure there are no vacuum leaks

if there are no vacuum leaks i would clean the throttle body butter fly out good and replace the IAC motor on the throttle body

with no codes that is usually what it is causing this issue
