Im working on a 94 Chevy S10 SWD Blazor...What is the torque

Customer Question

Im working on a 94 Chevy S10 SWD Blazor...What is the torque setting for the Axle nut on the front ???? Also any tricks to getting the sway bar back on (I replace the lower control arm)

Hello I will help,

The axle nut torque is 180 ft lbs.

Have both front wheels raised or on the ground to install the sway bar. If you only have one raised it is very hard to install.

Please let me know if you have further questions

Thank you

Help me with terminalogy here.. Is the name of the bar that runs underneath the front frame and extends to the bottom or both lower control arms the "sway bar" ? (Helt in place by two bushings on the frame and one each under the lower control Arms)
Expert:  George H. replied 1 month ago.

Yes it transfers the torque from side to side so the vehicle does not "sway" as much.

Let me know what questions you have

Thanks
