JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 01 gmc yucon 8.1 set po1516 throttle code as soon as it hits closed loop. When cleared with scan tool will be fine untill next cold start....Ecm?
JA: Have you checked the key fob's battery?
Customer: never heard of doing that
JA: Are you fixing your Yukon yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: customers car. has new tps installed. cleaned connectors at tps,foot pedal and ecm. removed throttle body cleaned and checked for binding. runs great. only happens when it reaches temp from cold. low power light comes on and throttle inop. if I clear the code it runs great again until Ishut it off and it sets untill cold. then same symtom starts over. scanner only shows percentage no voltage on tps havent been able to catch it when it happens

the code does point at the tps area. I see you cleaned the connector but that connector is a very common failure for the pins being loose or damaged.

do you have a scan tool to monitor the tps voltages???
