My 99 suburban blow just cold air. I replaced Water pump,

Customer Question

Hi, my 99 suburban blow just cold air. I replaced Water pump, thermostat, heater control valve, I flushed the heater core and still nothing. looks for me like a low water flow. It is possible?
JA: Has the vehicle ever overheated? And when was it last serviced?
Customer: it was overheated sometime during summer (pulling trailer) and it wasn't in service long time. i thing :)
JA: Are you fixing your Suburban yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes. I started with heater control valve ( it was broken), then i did flush, fill new coolant, install new water pump and flush heater core. nothing wasn't changed, hoses from engine are still warm just 3-4 inches from engine. Heater is working just during driving up hill
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I'm not sure. That's everything what i did with it.

ok. when sitting in the truck. engine off. key on. go from cold to hot and back to cold, do you hear the actuator moving behind the dash?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
it's I can hear something is mooving.
Expert:  david craig replied 1 month ago.

ok. you need to do a flow test. remove top and bottom rad hoses after draining system. and using a hose start putting water through the top of the rad and make sure its coming out of the bottom at the same rate as you put it in.
