Hello there,

New tech here, also Gary.

I know Cruze well.

Was there any other symptoms prior to the code 84 appearing on the cluster?

It is not starting now correct?

No cranking, or cranking no fire?

Only a Chev dealer will fix this for you, so you need to get the vehicle to your dealer.

Sorry for bad news.

Gary

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
It was fine in the morning when I went to work. Parked it and got this fault around lunch. There's no cranking
Thank you Garys! :-)

I would say it has developed the battery negative terminal fault, or possibly a BCM/key fault issue.

The dealer will sort it for you, I have done many.

Wish you all the best.

Gary
