Do you just need to remove the glove compartment with the door or the panel behind the compartment as well?
Ok, once you remove the box by pulling the hinge pins there are three screws on the top of the opening and four across the bottom.

They slide out the sides. one end is larger than the other you pull on that end or use a small tool to push from the other
The pins are pushed out the sides of the hinges

No, you have to remove the inner panel that I showed in the first link I posted above. I don't know what actuator you are replacing?
Isn't that along the outside of the box next to the outside body?
The vehicle is identified on the diagrams I post.
If it is the recirc actuator that is accessed from under the dash along the outside.
Remove the panel on the end of the dash
What is not working? I am helping you avoid removing the glove compartment now that I know what your objective is.
