If the deviation between the crankshaft and camshaft position exceeds a calibrated amount DTC P1345 will set.

The following conditions may cause this DTC to set:

  • An improperly torqued harmonic balancer A misbuilt or mis-timed engine
  • A loose or missing crank damper bolt
  • The camphaser solenoid stuck open
  • The camphaser stuck in a position other than 0 degrees
  • The camphaser does not return to 0 degrees within 16 seconds

whats most common? Or what and how should i test!
Expert:  Super Mechanic replied 4 months ago.

Most times it's a stuck cam position solenoid valve.

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
reccomend to replace cam s?
Expert:  Super Mechanic replied 4 months ago.

It would be hard for me to say, not being there. Actually recommend the test for the P1345 code, but the common causes are as described, thanks

Customer: replied 4 months ago.

Let me send it to customer service, there must be something wrong with the way the site is working. Thank you for your patience, it shouldn't take long.

Expert:  Super Mechanic replied 4 months ago.

I may be able to get the test in a dropbox for you Guillermo. Let me know if that would work for you, thanks

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
I replaxe the cam sensor and the code came back. What alse should i check?
Expert:  Super Mechanic replied 4 months ago.

Did you replace the cam sensor, as in the attached diagram, or the camshaft ACTUATOR SOLENOID VALVE ?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Inreplace cam sensor just like that one
Expert:  Super Mechanic replied 4 months ago.

I see, thanks. That is probably working normally and is seeing that the cam phaser is out. Normally from;

  • The camphaser solenoid stuck open

Let me see if I can get the test for that, thanks
