The code is for a key problem. Likely either the ignition switch or a bad key.
It could also be a Bad BCM
Do you have a scan tool? Is the code still there after ignition switch or did this code appear after replacement?
Ok. The ignition switch will not cause it to shut off.
Do you have any test equipment?
Scan tool with DATA?
Fuel pressure gauge
Injector noid light set
Just so I understand. You cannot communicate with the BCM when it quits? what type of scanner do you have?
When i wont start do you have a security light on dash?
So when it wont start will the starter crank the engine?
Do you have a spark tester? Injector noid light? Fuel pressure gauge?
Do you have RPM when the engine is cranking when it wont start?
on the scanner
When it quits check for engine rpm on scanner when cranking.
Does the engine stall and not restart or wont start after shut off?
There is really nothing in the BCM to keep it from running. Can you let it run and have BCM data going and see if the scanner loses communication at same time it quits? What other modules lose communication?
