IT stalls and loses power when cruising on interstate
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: total lose an has to coast with no power stering brakes ect
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: suburban 2003
JA: Are you fixing your Suburban yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: have taken to dealer last year but really could not find anything wrong it happened again last week
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: if the gas tank gets below one forth low and it sits all night it acts like it is out of gas and will not start unless i put gas in it even though it is not empty

Hi. SOunds like your having a fuel pressure and/or gauge issue. You can get a fuel pressure gauge and install it on the engine and do a cold start and check the pressure. But likely You are going to need to remove the fuel pump from the tank and check the pickup tube and the fuel level sender. And while there probably just replace the pump.
