Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose) I prefer to work when others don't, I am here around lunch and after dinner till after midnight.

We must first diagnose and resolve all the codes which are stored, prior to diagnosing this concern by symptom. Have you done any of those steps yet? If not I have them to share, if you can do diag.

So you need the steps for each code, correct?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
the codes don't always come up but the engines dies out while driving down the road

maybe the steps for each code would help if it gets me to solve the engine dying out

I need to confirm the engine, you said 2.5. There is a 2.5 and 3.5. Can I get the 8th vin number/letter?

Thanks,

0601 and 0606 normally mean the PCM is bad. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90220402/0601.pdf

0107 is a communication issue between the PCM and throttle body. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90220402/0107.pdf

0242 means the PCM is not sending torque info to the EBCM. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90220402/0242.pdf

0561 means the EBCM has shit down the traction control because there are other C codes stored. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/90220402/0561.pdf
