Interesting problem with left turn signal. Everything works

Customer Question

interesting problem with left turn signal. Everything works perfect during day light hours, but as soon as the headlights come on, the left signal arrow in the dash comes on dim and stays on, and the left turn signals do not operate
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: dash board fuses for what operation?
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2002 suburban 1500
JA: Are you fixing your Suburban 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes...I've checked all the bulbs to see that they are all in working order. I've purchased a new flasher relay, but not exactly sure how to install it , or even find it
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I'm working with one hand, as I'm a stroke victim and only have one hand/arm that still works

good morning my name is ***** ***** I will assist

you have a bad ground in either the front or rear left light. check the socket in the left front for being corroded or loose in the socket. also check the rear. you will have to remove the lens to access the socket assembly.
