After drives in hot weather, you have to wait 5 or 10

Customer Question

After long drives in hot weather, you have to wait 5 or 10 minutes before a restart. All lights and dash are bright, don't think it's the battery. Was told it could be that the starter gets warm and it has to cool before restarting.
JA: Have you checked the fuses? The dashboard bulbs?
Customer: No, but it happened 4 time in 2 days. It always starts if you wait 5 or 10 minutes, could it still be a fuse or dashboard bulbs.
JA: What is the model of your '10 Chevy?
Customer: 2012 equinox AWD Ls
JA: Are you fixing your Equinox yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Had a service tech install a new starter because he said these newer starter stick on a spot when hot, but this did not solve the problem.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: could it be a computer board problem
