Hi there,

Sounds like you are looking at the battery current sensor?

It is a black ring around a cable?

Expert:  Gary replied 1 month ago.

This may help as well.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
its just mounted on the cable , would that cause it to not start
Expert:  Gary replied 1 month ago.

Could do, since the BCM monitors battery usage, and it would have codes set now.

Can't say I have ever tried to start one with the current sensor disconnected.

It is fitted to many cars now.

Can we get a scan done as well now?
