Shut off in drive accidentally now won't start. Key is stuck

Customer Question

Shut off in drive accidentally now won't start. Key is stuck and no power at all in vehicle.
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: No power at all
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2011 Equinox
JA: Are you fixing your Equinox yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: It seems like a system reset or security issue. I'm trying to figure it out
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No problems before tonight. It is something to do with shutting off the vehicle while it was still in drive. Now the key is stuck in the ignition and will not start. No power in the car at all now. It's locked up somehow
