Ok thanks

The most common caused for the code P011 to set is in most cases caused by a failing Intake Camshaft Actuator Solenoid providing you have clean oil and good oil pressure. I would start first with having a look at the is and see if its sticking. See the steps in the link below for testing and as well as the link for replacement. Its very common for them to stick and fail.

That's not it its the sensor
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

That is not a sensor its an actuator which in 99% of all cases is the cause for the fault code P0011 your getting.

Here's a pic if the part
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

That would be the camshaft position sensor. See its location in the link below , that being said if your getting a code P0011 I would have a look at the Camshaft Actuator Solenoid as well.

are u saying low oil or an ill change can cause this too
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

Its possible especialy if you do a flush providing you have good oil pressure. The actuator is known for sticking, sometime a flush and oil change will solve it and sometimes you have to replace it.

How do I get to where the part goes
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

You can access it once you remove the Intake cover just as shown in the steps I sent you.

I'm trying an oil change first
Expert:  Ron replied 2 months ago.

Okay and before you do this run a flush through it as well.
