JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: clear back up lights
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 07 Silverado 2500HD work truck model manual windows and everything
JA: Are you fixing your Silverado yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes checked all fuses all have power to them but no power at the lamp plug
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

no codes but it also has a back up beeper that doesn't come on any more either

I would check to be sure that the body control module is powering up the back up lamp relay located in the underhood fuse block. This happens when the BCM gets a signal from the ECM over the BUS circuit. It is possible that the transmission range sensor, ECM or even the BCM is at fault. I bet there are codes stored in the BCM related to this problem. If not, then check for two powers and one ground going into the back up lamp relay with the transmission in reverse. Here is a wiring diagram.
