the engine shakes at idle some times stops when idleing in gear and the rpms are up and down when in gear some times when i excellerate and take my foot off the peddle I get a quick jurk like a miss fire

have you started with primary ignition? what are the codes?

I replaced ignition parts I misplaced the codes give me a minute and I will see if I can find them

yup its usually the cam sensor or the distributor itself

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the camshaft position sensor.
  3. Remove the camshaft position sensor retaining screw.
  4. Remove the camshaft position sensor.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

  1. Install the camshaft position sensor.
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor retaining screw, torque to 4-6 Nm (35-53 lb. in.) .
  3. Connect the electrical connector

  • Backed out terminals.
  • Improper mating.
  • Broken locks.
  • Improperly formed or damaged terminals.
  • Poor terminal to wiring connections.

Physical damage to the wiring harness.

no you need to trace the wire to the ecm...

no there is no power at the position connector sensor so I did not install the new sensor
