Customer Question

Back passenger door wouldn't open; flipped up mechanism in door latch; latch won't come back down and doir won't shut
JA: What is the model/year of your Chevy?
Customer: 2016 Silverado
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Tried putting a key in to force it to move. The door won't shut so I can't drive anywhere. Need to fix it myself
JA: Is the key stripped or worn?
Customer: No. Truck is brand new
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: We tried shutting the door, and quite possibly shoved it to jam it
